Our Story
On September 5, 2026, we'll gather at The Opinicon with our favourite people for two ceremonies, one celebration, and a very good excuse to spend a day by the lake.
When we looked back on our favourite memories, we realized they all seemed to include each other. It felt only right that this day would too.
We're incredibly happy, deeply grateful, and very much looking forward to celebrating with all of you.
The marriages are serious.
The party is going to be ridiculous.

Accommodations
Accommodation and transportation arrangements are kindly left to our guests.
There are plenty of options available throughout the surrounding area in nearby communities including Westport, Portland, Newboro, Rideau Ferry, and Perth — offering a range of accommodations, from inns and bed & breakfasts to private cottages and vacation rentals.
We encourage guests to book early, particularly if planning to stay for the weekend. We also recommend arranging transportation in advance, as taxi and rideshare services can be limited in the area.

Formal garden attire!
Earth tones are encouraged—think rich, natural colours inspired by The Opinicon landscape, such as olive, forest green, rust, terracotta, deep red, burgundy, camel, taupe, brown, charcoal, navy, and cream.
For the purposes of pictures, please avoid pastels and very light shades such as baby blue, lavender, pale pink, or mint.
The ceremony will be on grass — wedges or flats are recommended for the ladies.
